Boat Registrations: Anyone may register a boat in NH if they are a resident or they will be using the boat mostly in NH waters.
You will need either a bill of sale, your boat renewal notice or your prior year's registration. The person listed as owner will need to be present to register the boat as their signature is required. Plaistow takes only cash as payment for a boat registration.
Your bill of sale should include: New owners: name, address and DOB. Boat: year, make, horse power, fuel type, boat length, color, hull material and hull ID number (usually 12 digits long). Also if the boat
was previously registered in NH, we will need the Bow numbers which will begin with NH.
