Residents may register to vote in the Town Clerk's Office anytime that the office is open up until 10 before any Election. A resident must be 18 to vote but may register to vote before their 18th birthday if by the Election Date they will be 18. The resident must show a valid ID and proof of residency.
10 days prior to elections the Supervisors of the Voter Checklist will hold an evening or Saturday session to register any new voters. These sessions will be posted on the Cable TV station 17 and in both the Eagle Tribune and Carriage Town News.
Residents may also register to vote at the polls on any Election Day. |
