If you see mold or smell mold, you have mold. The most important step in solving a mold problem is to identify and correct the moisture sources that allowed the growth in the first place. Some common indoor moisture sources include: flooding, roof leaks, plumbing leaks, inadequate venting of kitchen and bath humidity, failure to vent a clothes dryer outside, line drying clothes indoors, condensation, humidifier use, and storing firewood indoors.
