POLICE ACCIDENT REPORTS
Accident reports are only available to parties involved in the accident including the owner of a vehicle involved, operator or passenger of a vehicle involved, a pedestrian hit by a vehicle involved, or an owner of any property damaged as a result of the accident.
A written request must be made either in person or through the mail. In order to identify the report requested the following should be included in the request:
 Case number (if available)
 Parties involved
 Date and time of accident
 Location of accident
There is a processing fee of $15.00 for each full report requested, which must be paid for either at the time of pick up or when you submit your request by mail. Please make all checks payable to “Town of Plaistow”. The full report includes diagrams if any, and a brief narrative by the officer. If photos are included in the report and you wish to receive reprints there is an additional charge of $10.00 for reproduction of the photos.
At no charge, you can receive a copy of the face sheet which includes each of the driver’s insurance information.
Please note that we do not fax accident reports and the administration staff will not discuss and/or provide any information contained in the reports over the telephone.
