On-Call Animal Control Officer
(Variable Part-Time Hours)

The Town of Plaistow Police Department has an opening for an On-Call Animal Control Officer.  Applicants for this position must be at least 21 years old, have no criminal record, possess a High School Degree or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and have U.S. Citizenship.  Also, must have knowledge of animal behaviors and be comfortable working with a wide variety of wildlife and domestic animals.  Good written and verbal communications is a must as well as public relations skills.  Required to provide on-call animal control services as needed 24/7.  

Required to complete oral board, background investigation, polygraph, and medical and psychological examinations.

Compensation commensurate with experience and education.
