FRIENDS OF PLAISTOW RECREATION
The Friends of Plaistow Recreation (FoPR) is a 501(c)(3) organization created for the purpose to fundraise through various means in order to enhance the recreational programming in Plaistow and to sponsor events throughout the town to create a fun atmosphere for all.
NOTE: Friends of Plaistow Recreation also has a no child left behind policy and will try and ensure that all children shall be allowed to participate in local recreation activities and not be excluded due to financial impediments. Should you require or know of someone who requires assistance, please contact us and we will review each case independently and offer reasonable assistance as we are able to.
MEETINGS: The fourth Wednesday of every month at the Plaistow Public Library meeting room. Meetings start at 6:30 PM. Meetings may be rescheduled around the holidays to avoid conflict - check the web-page for updates.

COW PATTY BINGO -- the cow (Millie) cooperated this year and landed on M-11 & N-11, within 2 minutes of being put in the pen. However, she was NOT happy to be there, so for the safety of the children and the cow, she was brought back to her trailer about 20 minutes in and the third winner was by drawing.
THANK YOU to all our judges: Michelle Auger, Rosemarie Bayek, Buzzy Blinn and Dick Goudreault; our cow handler, Mike Dorman; our cow lender, Chrissy Hoyt; our emcee, Dan Bush; and everyone who supported our organization in the Cow Patty Bingo event. Oh, and especially Millie -- she must have known it was going to rain... and wanted to get us all out of there before it started!!! LOL
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of COW PATTY BINGO and thank you to everyone who participated! 1st place/$500 Jen Munro of Hampstead, 2nd place/$300 Maryanne Little of Plaistow, and 3rd place/$200 Pat Murphy of Hampstead.
A final THANK YOU to all that participated and volunteered for Friends of Plaistow Recreation whether it be in the concession stand, at Old Home Day on the Town Hall green or at PARC, and to Tami Smith for helping us throughout the Old Home Day festivities. We appreciate all your support. We are now on hiatus until the Fall Festival on September 25th -- watch for information!!!!!!
