The rental assistance programs are funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. NH Housing helps tenants with their rent payment by paying a portion of the monthly rent directly to the landlord.

Rockingham Community Action Program Crisis Services:

Provides emergency grants to low-income households for the payment of rent, mortgages, electricity, fuel or other basic necessities for households facing evictions, foreclosures, utility terminations, lack of fuel or other emergencies. Makes Security deposits affordable for homeless or at-risk households by providing no-interest loan guarantees.
