Victims of Violent Crimes

Rockingham County Victim Information & Notification Everyday (VINE):

VINE is a free, anonymous, computer-based telephone program that provides victims of crime with information & notification services. For inmate custody information call 1-800-542-9904. VINE will quickly tell the caller if the inmate is still in custody. Callers may then choose to register for an automated notification call when an inmate is released, transferred or escapes.


New Hampshire Victim’s Assistance Commission:

Provides innocent victim of violent crimes with expenses directly related to crime injuries in an amount not to exceed $10,000 per victim. The costs of this program are paid by motor vehicle and criminal fine assessments and federal grants, and not by New Hampshire taxpayers. This program can assist with medical and dental care, mental health counseling, wage loss, loss or support for dependents of homicide victims, funeral and burial costs and other out-of-pocket expenses.
