Plaistow Town Wide Yard Sale

Save the date!  Plaistow Parks and Recreation will host our 1st Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 8 AM to 4 PM rain or shine.  Take advantage of this event to clean out your attic, basement, garage or barn, make a little cash for your pocket, and help support Plaistow Recreation all at the same time.  Proceeds from the registration fee will help enhance Recreational programming.   

Don’t delay!  Registration will take place beginning Wednesday, March 24th, with a firm deadline of Tuesday, April 20th.  All registration will be by mail or by drop-off in the Selectmen’s Office at the Town Hall.  No phone registrations will be accepted.    A registration fee of $15 payable to the Town of Plaistow must accompany your registration form.  Registration includes: newspaper advertising of the event through press releases and classified ads; listing on Craig’s List and Plaistow Cable TV-17; signage around town, and materials for two easy-to-assemble, staked signs.  Participants will be listed (by address only) in the Town Wide Yard Sale directory with easy to follow driving directions to your location.  Registration forms will be available beginning March 24th on the town website at: www.plaistow.com  and at Town Hall during regular business hours.  Plaistow based community non-profit groups are encouraged to participate with no registration fee due.  Groups must register to be included in the directory.  Please watch for and patronize local businesses who may be offering special discounts and offers during the Town Wide Yard Sale.  Call the recreation phone line at 382-5200 ext 18 if you need additional information.
