The Tax Year is from April 1ST  to March 31ST   Plaistow's Tax Bills are due semi-annually in the months of July and December and are usually mailed one month prior to the due date. The first bill, due July 1st, covers April 1st to Sept. 30th.  It is an estimate based on one half of the last years total taxes. The tax rate is then set by the NH State Dept. of Revenue Administration (DRA), usually sometime in October/November. The second bill, due in Dec. covers Oct. 1st to March 31st. It is calculated using the new tax rate multiplied by your property's assessed value as of April 1st, less any payments made on the first bill.

The total tax for the year is comprised of the first and second bill. Interest is due starting the day after the bill is due , pro-rated on a daily rate, in accordance with NH law. If your taxes have not been paid by the due date please contact this office for a payoff figure.

This office is not responsible for the U.S. Post Office "losing" bills or payments.

Bill information is available online under the "Find it Fast" tab or on the Tax Collectors page. Property Tax Center  - Lookup, view and print property tax records.
