Motor Vehicle Registrations & Dog License COVID-19 Update 3/25/2020

During this unprecedented event, starting March 25th, the Plaistow Town Clerk’s Office is only renewing your motor vehicle registrations and dog licenses either by mail or on-line by clicking here.

The renewals will be processed as they are received in our office.

To renew through the mail, please mail your motor vehicle renewal notice, a check or money order to:

Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. 

If you cannot locate your mail notice, please send a note with your plate number(s) along with your payment so we are sure we are renewing the correct vehicle(s) for you. 

If you are unsure of the amount of your payment, please call the office 603-382-8129.

For new registrations, if you have a temporary plate issued by the State of NH DMV or a NH Auto Dealer after March 1, 2020, the Governor has authorized an extension until April 30, 2020.

If you must register a new vehicle, please call for during our normal hours for an appointment.

To renew your dog license through the mail, please use the address above and include a note

with either your dog’s license number or name.

Dog license fees are as follows:

Spayed or neutered dog $7.50/each

Whole or unfixed dog $10.00/each

Dog owners 65 or older are allowed one dog license for $2.00.

To license a new dog, please send a copy of your dog's rabies certificate

along with your payment to the address above.
