St Luke's Food Pantry at Holy Angels is looking for donations!

The St Luke's Food Pantry at Holy Angels is looking for donations to help supplement the food items that they are either out of or use a lot of.

They service families in the Timberlane, Hampstead and Sanborn School Districts. Due to the COVID 19 virus outbreak, many families in the area are adversely affected as people are abruptly not working, kids are home all day, work hours are reduced or eliminated, and families are stretching their budgets to make things work. Many families and people find themselves turning to food pantries to supplement their food supply. They have seen this increase along with most other pantries.

They are looking for donations to help meet this increased demand and help to restock their shelves. In addition to regular food orders of non-perishable items, they also try to provide fresh produce, breads, bakery, dairy, eggs, and meats.

They are currently looking for the following items: jelly, ramen noodles, pasta, any boxed potatoes such as au gratin or scalloped, mashed potatoes, rice a roni type products, hamburger, chicken or tuna helper, baking mixes such as brownie, cake, muffin, bread or quick bread mixes, canned tuna or chicken, any canned meats, any kid-friendly snacks such as peanut butter crackers, pretzels, teddy grahams, graham cracker, granola bars, goldfish crackers, sliced bread or English muffins, and diapers and wipes.

There are collection bins at the front of Market Basket and Shaw's where purchased items can be dropped off or they can be left at the parish office, or at the Pantry.

Monetary and gift card donations (checks payable to Saint Luke Food Pantry) are always helpful and can be left off at the parish office Mon. – Thurs., 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or mailed to St Luke's Food Pantry, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow, NH 03865
