Seacoast and Sandcastle

Kick off the summer vacation with a trip to the beach!  The fun will begin leaving the Plaistow Park and Ride at 8:45 AM as we head to the seacoast.  What are we planning, well word is 200 tons of imported sand will be dropped on the Hampton Beach shores.  The Grady Bunch will begin building their Sand Demo site.  This is an annual competition and is by invitation only!  This event is funded by the Hampton Beach Village District and Sponsors, in cooperation with the Hampton Chamber of Commerce and NH Division of Parks.

 

If that wasn’t enough fun for one day, we will then head up to York Maine where we will have lunch at The Weathervane on your own.  Take a quick stop at Where Pigs Fly for some awesome bread and then head home!  WAIT…what would a bus ride be without a stop for ice cream at Hodgies!  We will return to Plaistow at approximately 4:00 pm.

 

Please register with Recreation at 382-5200 ext 204.  Open to Plaistow residents only until May 29th.  Non resident registration begins May 30th.  Tickets for residents is $10.00 and non residents $20.00
