Curbside Bulk Item Pick Up

Each "customer" is allowed to place one bulk item, per week, curbside for collection.  No special stickers are needed, and you do not need to call in advance to schedule pickup.

Bulk items would be things like furniture, a lamp and many small household items.  

If you have something like a three-piece sectional sofa, or a table and six chairs, each piece would be considered a separate item.  So, in the example of your three-piece sofa, it would take three collection weeks to dispose of the sofa. 

If any furniture is still in usable condition, please consider donating it or putting a notice on social media offering it for free.  Not only will you be able to get rid of a multi-pieced item all at once, you'll be helping someone else out and delaying when that item ends up in the landfill.  Win-Win-Win!

Bulk items DO NOT include electronics and appliances.  Those are considered "white goods" and there is a separate process for them to be collected. To have a white good picked up you must call Customer Service at Republic at 800-442-9006. They will coordinate and schedule the pickup for you. White goods are usually picked up on the first Friday of each month. Most metal items are also considered "white goods". Be on the look out for community and civic organizations, such as the Scouts who frequently have electronic recycling drives where some of the disposal fees are given back to the specific organization.  Also, see the FAQ for additional White Goods Pick Up Information.
