Bulk Item Collection - How does it work?

Each "customer" is allowed to place one bulk item out for curbside collection. No special sticker or advanced notice is required. Just place your bulk item out curbside on your scheduled collection day.

Some have asked for a list of acceptable items that can be placed out for curbside collection as the one bulk item per week. We asked JRM for such a list or some clarification. They don't have a specific list, however, this is their definition:

“A bulk item is anything non-motorized and no more than 40% metal or heavier than 50lbs. Furniture items (including sofas, sleeper sofas, recliners, cut up rugs – 3 rolls each week must be cut in 3ft lengths and tied, outdoor patio items, non-motorized children’s toys, office items, etc. would all be considered bulk items.”

Remember, when you are placing furniture items, that have more than one piece (i.e. sectional sofas, mattress and box spring) you can only place one (1) piece out curbside each week. A 3-piece sectional will take three weeks of curbside pick-up to dispose of.
