Contacting the Highway Safety Advisory Committee

The Plaistow Highway Safety Advisory Committee meets quarterly and its membership is comprised of Town Officials, residents, and members of the Board of Selectmen. The Committee is an advisory Committee to the Board of Selectmen regarding issues of mutual concern on Plaistow roadways.  The Committee does not address issues concerning snow plowing, street sweeping, trash pick-up, or school bus pickups/discharge. These concerns should be brought to the attention of the Plaistow Highway Department (plowing or street sweeping), the Plaistow Town Hall (trash pick-up),  or the Office of the Superintendent of Schools for the Timberlane School District and the bus company for the school district (school bus pickups/discharges).

If a resident has a concern or an issue that they would like the Plaistow Highway Safety Advisory Committee to review, please put your concern, in writing, and be as specific as possible. Please include your name, address, and identify the best method to contact you (telephone, e-mail, etc.).

Your concern or issue will be discussed at the next scheduled meeting of the Highway Safety Advisory Committee. You will be contacted as to the date of the meeting in case you wish to speak, in person, to the Committee members about your concern. If you do not wish to speak directly with the Committee, your issue will be discussed during the meeting and a representative of the Committee will follow up with you as to the outcome.

Please send all correspondence to: Highway Safety Advisory Committee, 145 Main Street, Plaistow, NH 03865
